Mermaids Trail, Guantanamo Bay

lyrics and vocal Jasmina Tesanovic
Produced by Yojimbo Billions

Mermaids trail Guantanamo bay

i ‘m just a truthful girl
from guantanamo bay
i’m just an activist girl
from guantanamo bay
and instead of let men die
This is what i will say

guantanamo bay
(black) death must go away
guantanamo bay
mermaids will sing to stay

i ve seen torture and death
of prisoners gone astray
i’ve seen torture and death
for men passed away
i ve heard screams of pain
from dens of (my) beautiful bay

guantanamo bay
no death here i say
guantamo bay
mermaids will sing to stay

i grow thorny angry rose
in july as in january
i grow my thorny angry rose
in january as in july
for the oppressor hate
who chains my open hand

guantanamo bay
no death here i say
guantamo bay
it is a mermaids trail

with the women of the earth
i want to cast my cry
with the women of the earth
i want to cry my song
no man, yours or mine
on my island will tortured die
